Wiring and rewiring in Ranchi
Good wiring is invisible until it fails. We plan it around the loads you will actually run, size the cable for each circuit, and label what we leave behind.
01 / Scope
What's included
- Concealed (conduit) and surface wiring for new homes, shops and offices
- Full or partial rewiring of old, brittle or aluminium wiring
- Fault finding: short circuits, earth leakage, dead points, loose joints
- Extra points and sockets, including 16A points for heavy loads
- Load balancing across phases on three-phase supply
- Neat finishing: joints insulated, chases patched, every point tested
Call us if you notice
- Warm or discoloured sockets
- Lights that flicker when a heavy appliance starts
- A burning smell near a switchboard
- Breaker or fuse tripping every few days
As a general guide: 1.5 sq mm copper for lights and fans, 2.5 sq mm for sockets, 4 sq mm or more for air conditioners and geysers. We size to your actual load.
02 / Process
How we handle it
You get a price before any work begins, and a tested result at the end.
- 01
Walk the site
We look at the existing wiring, the rooms and the appliances you use, and note every point you want.
- 02
Plan the circuits
Lights and fans, sockets and heavy loads go on separate circuits, each with the right cable size and breaker.
- 03
Lay conduit and cable
ISI-marked copper cable is pulled through conduit and colour-coded for phase, neutral and earth.
- 04
Test and hand over
We test continuity and every point, patch what we opened, and clean up before we leave.
03 / Good to know
Straight answers
Keep circuits separate
If lights, sockets and the AC share one line, a single fault can darken the whole house. Separate circuits keep a problem local.
Copper over aluminium
Copper carries current with less heating and makes more reliable joints. It is the only conductor we recommend for new work.
Plan extra points early
Adding sockets and lights before plastering is far easier than cutting into finished walls later. Tell us what you might need.

Questions about wiring and rewiring
Not covered here? Call or WhatsApp and ask.
How do I know if my house needs rewiring?
Common signs are brittle or cracked insulation, sockets that feel warm, breakers that trip often, a burning smell, and wiring that is decades old, especially aluminium. We inspect and tell you whether a repair is enough or a rewire is really needed.
Will rewiring damage my walls?
Concealed rewiring can mean opening chases in the wall. Where the old conduit is sound we reuse it. Whatever we open, we patch before we leave.
Can you rewire one room at a time?
Yes. We can work room by room or floor by floor, so you can keep living in the rest of the house.
