02 / Process
How we handle it
You get a price before any work begins, and a tested result at the end.
- 01
Check the appliance and the point
We read the appliance nameplate for its power draw and inspect the point and wiring it will use.
- 02
Run a dedicated line
Heavy appliances get their own cable and breaker, sized for the load.
- 03
Connect and earth
The appliance is connected through a proper plug or switch point and earthed.
- 04
Test under load
We run the appliance and check that the wire, plug and breaker stay cool and stable.
03 / Good to know
Straight answers
Why a dedicated line
An AC or geyser pulls a lot of current for long periods. On a shared line the wire and plug overheat, and everything else trips.
Use the right plug
Heavy appliances need a 16A plug and socket. Adapters and extension boards are a common cause of hot plugs and burnt sockets.
Mind the voltage
For fridges and ACs, follow the manufacturer's advice on stabilisers. We can fit one if you need it.

Questions about appliance installation
Not covered here? Call or WhatsApp and ask.
Do you mount the AC as well?
We do the electrical side: the dedicated line, breaker and switch point. Mounting and gas work are handled by your dealer or the appliance service centre.
What breaker does my AC need?
It depends on the model. We read the nameplate and match the breaker and cable to it instead of guessing from the tonnage.
Can I plug my geyser into a normal socket?
We do not recommend it. A geyser needs its own point with proper earthing and protection, because it draws high current for a long time in a wet area.
